Life is a series of painful or joyful moments, which follow each other in an endless cycle. Whenever pain comes near us, our only salvation is to seek places of beauty, joy, and peace. Wherever there is joy, our souls can heal.

By exploring her shame and transforming its lessons into a soul-conscious way of living, she became a source of inspiration for others who long to discover themselves.

Why this story needs to be shared
Stories about shame deserve to be heard. As long as we avoid the subject, shame remains. But when we face it, it can transform into something powerful and set us free from within. This does not mean you will never feel shame again, but it does mean that you become the one in charge of your shame, your judgments, and everything that pulls you down.

You are now leading your life from your unique soul energy, and that is liberation.

Four ways to recognize your own shame

Listen to your body
Notice signals such as blushing, tension, pain, or a heavy feeling in your stomach. Sometimes you may also feel lightheaded.

Become aware of your inner voice
Observe negative thoughts about your body, your sexuality, your love life, or your work. Do you often put yourself down? That may be shame speaking.

Recognize your tendency to withdraw
Do you avoid conversations about love, relationships, or success? You may be using distance as protection against shame.

Give your feelings a number
On a scale from 1 to 10, rate how intense your shame feels. Honest self-reflection is the first step toward healing. And if your score is high, don’t panic. Let it become your motivation to transform your shame into your own “fame.”

More about my own journey with shame
I do not only share Elena’s story. I, too, struggled with shame for many years, and I know how paralyzing it can be. Today, I speak openly and freely about myself, my process, and everything I feel called to share with the world.

I AM FREE.

In my video “From Victim to Victorious,” I show how I learned to speak openly about the very topics that silenced me for so long.
I have also written about this in my book Peace with Your Origins, Embrace Your True Worth and Live a soulful, Happy Life, where I reveal my own shame and share how I set myself free.
